Our History

1976

Foundation

HAMKO Group was established by Late Abdus Sattar Talukdar with a vision to serve the nation through quality products and services. Our journey began with a single manufacturing unit dedicated to excellence.

Starting with Abdullah Battery Co(Pvt.) Ltd, the company focused on manufacturing high-quality batteries for the automotive and industrial sectors, laying the foundation for what would become a diversified industrial conglomerate.

1980s

Growth & Expansion

The 1980s marked significant growth with the establishment of HAMKO Corporation Ltd (HCL) as the marketing and distribution wing. The company expanded its battery manufacturing capabilities and began exporting to international markets.

1990s

Diversification

The 1990s marked our expansion into new markets and product lines. HAMKO Industries Ltd (HIL) was established, introducing plastic products and cookware. We diversified our portfolio and established our presence as a leading industrial group with 17 branch offices nationwide.

2000s

Innovation & Technology

We embraced technology and innovation, introducing modern manufacturing processes and expanding our service network across the country. New concerns were added including HAMKO Electric & Electronics, Solar Division, and others.
